Who we are

JustLawIt is an educational study tool for Indian law. This policy explains what we collect when you use justlawit.com and related app routes.

Account data

When you sign in with Google we receive your Google user id, name and email address. We use them to authenticate you, meter your daily allowance, and (if you contact us) reply. We do not sell this data.

Usage metering

For signed-in users we store a daily token count and plan tier on our servers (Firestore) so the allowance can be enforced. Failed or degraded answers are not counted.

Questions and answers

When you ask a question, the text is sent to our servers and to the language-model provider that synthesises the answer, together with short conversation history for that request. We do not use your chats to train a public model of our own. Provider processing is subject to that provider's terms.

What stays on your device

Sessions, notebooks, revise lists, saved preferences (theme, depth) and moot workspaces are stored in your browser. Clearing site data for justlawit.com deletes them. We cannot recover them.

Feedback and reports

If you send feedback or report an answer while signed in, we store the message, any reason chips you pick, and limited context (your question, answer title, mode and subject area) so we can investigate. Reports are not charged against your allowance.

Cookies and similar

We use Firebase Authentication, which sets cookies or local storage needed to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on the core study surfaces.

Children

JustLawIt is aimed at law students and entrance-exam aspirants. If you are under the age required for Google accounts in your region, do not sign in.

Retention

Account and metering records are kept while your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for abuse prevention and accounting. Feedback records are kept until reviewed and then as needed for product improvement. Device-local data lasts until you clear it.

Your choices

You can sign out at any time from Account. You can delete sessions from the Library or Account. To request deletion of server-side account or feedback records, use Report a problem from the signed-in account you want removed.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
