What JustLawIt is
JustLawIt is an educational and research tool for students of Indian law. It answers study questions from a curated library of legal documents and, where that library runs out, from general knowledge of Indian law. It is not a law firm, not a lawyer, and not legal advice. Do not rely on it for a real legal problem. Free legal aid in India is available through NALSA: call 15100.
Who may use it
You may use JustLawIt if you are old enough to consent to Google sign-in in your jurisdiction and you use it for personal study or research. You must not use it to provide legal advice to others, to harass, or to attempt to break or overload the service.
Accounts
Access to AI answers requires signing in with Google. We receive the name and email address Google shares. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend access for abuse or to protect the service.
Daily allowance
Free accounts receive a daily token allowance that resets at midnight Indian Standard Time. Only answers that arrive are counted. Library extracts served when the AI is unavailable, errors, and reopening saved sessions do not count. Pro is not available for purchase yet.
Your content
Questions, sessions, notebooks, revise lists and moot workspaces are stored on your device unless a feature explicitly says otherwise. Clearing your browser site data removes them. Do not paste secrets or confidential client material you are not allowed to process with a third-party study tool.
Accuracy
Answers can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Every answer says whether it drew on the library (§) or general knowledge (≈). You must check material against primary sources before you cite it in an exam, memorial or filing.
Acceptable use
Do not scrape the service, reverse-engineer the library at scale, attempt to bypass sign-in or allowances, or use automated clients that degrade the experience for others.
Availability
We aim to keep JustLawIt available, but we do not guarantee uptime. Features may change. When the AI is down you may receive a library extract labelled as such.
Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JustLawIt and its operators are not liable for exam results, academic outcomes, or any loss arising from reliance on the tool. The service is provided as-is for educational use.
